Visiting Sarasota?

For my out of town visitors. If you plan on making it a weekend, or staying local. I’ve provided some information for you below to use as a resource. Listed below are some things you can do and places to see while visiting. From local restaurants, to the jewel of the Suncoast…it’s beaches! Which are some of the highest rated every year.

The summer is considered “off season” here in Sarasota so hotels should not be an issue as well as traffic. Look forward to you all coming down and hope you have an awesome stay!

Things to do while here?

Hotels, Resorts, Beaches, Restaurants & More

Visit The Amazing Beaches

Rated as some of the best beaches in the country year in and year out. The Sarasota region is home to amazing beaches like Siesta key beach, Lido Beach, Longboat Key and more. sink your feet in what many call “powdered sugar” to explain the feeling of the soft white sand. Visit the suncoast and see for yourself!

If you’re here Saturday at the beach. Just a few minutes from downtown Sarasota sits Lido beach. Relax, unwind, but don’t forget you have a social to get to lol!

Downtown Sarasota

Downtown Sarasota is great for anyone to come and enjoy an sophisticated, urban atmosphere. With many restaurants to choose from. While here visit the many art galleries or boutique shops throughout the area.

If entertainment is up your sleeve. There are local bars and nightlife as well as a vibrant performing arts scene here with many private theaters and the world famous Sarasota Opera house as well as the well known Van Wezel Performing Artcs Center.

Marina & St Armands Circle

In the downtown district sits the beautiful marina at the Sarasota Bayfront Park where you can rent boats, walk around, and enjoy a tiki bar, food and island music. Order a cold drink from the bar, relax and get to know the locals while here.

St Armands Circle is just minutes from downtown next to lido beach and offers restaurants, shops and a relaxing atmosphere. Visit the Columbia restaurant that is a branch from the world famous parent restaurant in Tampa.

From Fine Dining to Taco Trucks

Aside from the top rated Louies Modern restaurant where the venue is being held. Sarasota has a huge assortment of restaurants and bars that you can visit. From fine dining locations to quick eats, you’ll easily find some great places to fill your appetite.

For a really quick authentic Mexican snack, the food truck on 41 (Joyland parking lot) offers amazing tacos, enchiladas and more! One of my favorite late night stops after salsa dancing.

During the summer in Sarasota it’s considered “off-season” meaning you won’t have a hard time acquiring hotels to stay.

But during the fall, winter, spring the area gets lots of tourism and hotels become difficult.
